Leadership

Shirley M. Miles

President

As a kid, I heard President John F. Kennedy say, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” that resonated with me, and that is when I made my mind up to contribute to society.  Fast forward, I graduated from high school and got permission to go an extra year to take more subjects that would better prepare me for college. I worked four jobs to pay my way to college.  While in college, I enrolled in the Air Force ROTC program and graduated with distinguished honors, receiving the Daughters of the American Revolution Award and Medal.   This privilege gave me the honor of going into any field I desired in the Air Force. However, leadership had another plan; I was asked to be an Air Force pilot and accepted it. I started training and am still barfing from that T-38 Fighter Trainer Jet maneuvers, and Gs pulled on me. Another fast forward, I decided to go into the audit field because I wanted to learn about the world and make it a better place for everyone.

I fulfilled my military commitment and served in many leadership roles within the missile defense, Aerospace, NASA, Telecommunications, Construction, and Acquisition industries.  I served in leadership roles under a sitting United States President, traveling the world with his voice, meeting with the Presidents abroad, and serving on the management team of General Colin Powell. In all these roles, I applied my oversight, compliance, and risk mitigation expertise to fixing deficiencies and resolving challenges.

What I am most proud of is being a “MOM.”  I was intimately involved in my child’s education from the very beginning, from preschool to college, as a first-time mom.  I thought my job was to send my child to school and tell her, “She is smart, beautiful, and intelligent” daily.  I had an awakening; her first assignment in kindergarten was to do a project on a person who made a significant contribution to America, which meant researching to pick the person, knowing the history, dressing, building the props, and acting the part.  I thought, how will my child do this independently without my help?  That is when I discovered firsthand how a parent is supposed to be involved in their child’s education in the school system.  It was my and the teacher’s job to ensure that my child had a fulfilling learning experience at school. Parents are the first educators of their children as education starts at home.

What has crept into America’s Education System is “Wokeness” right under our noses.  Wokeness in America’s Education System is Subliminal Terrorism because it eats at the minds of our future leaders and our children and depletes them of their dreams, independence, and confidence, preventing them from going forward to be the best they can be due to having the children’s mind in a straitjacket. It impacts our labor force and harms the replenishment of critical infrastructure jobs within America’s Department of Defense and other vital areas.  As parents, we will fight to protect our children from these abusive mental programs in our schools.  Wokeness harms America by preventing our children from wanting to serve in the military and be leaders in America. Wokeness teaches our children to hate each other and America.  Wokeness in the American education system is the intentional infliction of emotional distress on America’s children, where it is a haven for them to do so.  We will fix this and expel the terrorists within.  More to come during our Education Summit and Tea… We need all the mama, papa bears, and grandparents to join us, too! Help President Trump save America!

“WOKENESS IN THE AMERICAN EDUCATION SYSTEM IS SUBLIMINAL TERRORISM AND A THREAT TO OUR COUNTRY”  - Shirley Mae Miles
